El Ministerio del Interior del Reino Unido ha prohibido la entrada a Gran Bretaña a los comentaristas políticos estadounidenses Cenk Uygur y a su sobrino Hasan Piker, quienes tenían previsto actuar en un festival de arte y reunirse con líderes de izquierda. Los expertos afirman que la prohibición se debe a su retórica antiisraelí .
Lo sucedido: Uygur, de 56 años, presentador del programa de debate político en línea de izquierda "The Young Turks", y Piker, de 34 años, un conocido streamer de Twitch, no han podido participar en el festival SXSW de Londres. Uygur afirmó que también tenía previsto hablar en un evento estudiantil organizado en la Universidad de Oxford.
