Amid reports of an imminent deal between Iran and the US to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait are looking beyond the current crisis toward a more resilient long-term export architecture. With Aramco studying new export routes and Kuwait exploring a pipeline that would bypass the Strait of Hormuz, Gulf producers are preparing for a future in which the region's traditional energy corridor can no longer be taken for granted.
