מי שהעלה את רעיון עידוד הגירת תושבי עזה למדינות ערב לא בקי בהיסטוריה הישראלית והפלסטינית המודרנית. הרעיונות לטרנספר מרצון של יהודים או של פלסטינים לא הצליחו בעבר ולא יצליחו בעתיד. את האנרגיה עדיף להשקיע בחתירה להסדר שיאפשר לשני הצדדים הניצים לחיות כאן ביחד.

הר הבית: לוותר על הריבונות הישראלית, להרשות תפילה יהודית

העובדה שהימין צודק בכך שהריבונות הישראלית אינה מופעלת בהר הבית, איננה אומרת שיש להפעילה. במסגרת חוזה שלום אפשר לקבוע שהריבונות תעבור לגורם פלסטיני או כלל-מוסלמי, וכל מי שירצה לעלות להר כדי להתפלל – יהודי או מוסלמי – יורשה לעלות ולהתפלל.

מתנת הבחירות של נתניהו לנשיא טראמפ

בהחלטתו לאשר או למנוע את כניסתן לישראל של שתי המחוקקות הדמוקרטיות נתניהו היה צריך לבחור בין האינטרס הלאומי לבין האינטרס של טראמפ. כמי שזקוק לכל מה שהנשיא מסוגל לנפק לטובתו לקראת הבחירות הקרובות, אין לו את הפריבילגיה לחשוב קודם על מדינת ישראל.

עזה לא הפכה לסינגפור, מה זה אומר על ההתנתקות הבאה?

14 שנים אחרי, ההתנתקות כסמל עדיין חיה בזיכרון הציבורי ובשיח הפוליטי. כיוון שהנוסחה "פינוי שטחים תמורת שלום ושגשוג" לא עבדה במקרה של עזה, בעתיד, אם תעלה סוגיית דומה בגדה המערבית, יהיה קשה להסביר לישראלים את ההיגיון בהתנתקות נוספת.
