Top US firms head to Saudi Arabia with Trump

All eyes will be on Riyadh next week, when Saudi Arabia becomes the first country to host President Donald Trump since he returned to the White House in January. The movers and shakers from some of the biggest businesses in the world will also be in the kingdom, looking to strike deals on the first leg of the president’s Gulf trip. Among them will be BlackRock, Blackstone, Google and Citibank.

Trump hopes to announce more Gulf investment in the United States at a challenging time for regional economies, which are suffering as the price of oil remains low amid a global tariff war he initiated.
