Turkey eyes Iran war fallout while seeking diplomatic role

It's been another nail-biting week as the world awaits President Donald Trump’s decision to either join or stay out of Israel’s war with Iran. Few leaders are watching as closely as Turkey’s president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Turkey is certainly in favor of a weakened Iran shorn of its nuclear ambitions. But a failed state would be a nightmare.
