Markets rebound on truce

Now that a ceasefire between Israel and Iran appears to be holding, regional markets and oil prices have recovered to post-war levels.

What a difference 12 days make. It has been a turbulent week in the Middle East since Israel launched a military campaign against Iran on June 13 and Tehran responded with ballistic missile and drone attacks.

Now that a ceasefire between Israel and Iran appears to be holding, regional markets and oil prices have recovered to post-war levels. On the surface, it looks like we’re back to business as usual, though the question is: How long will that last?
