The United Arab Emirates said its forces shot down a ballistic missile fired by Yemen’s Houthi rebels on Monday during a historic visit by Israel’s President Isaac Herzog.

Houthi spokesperson Yahya Saree claimed the attack targeted Abu Dhabi with “a number of Zulfiqar ballistic missiles.”

Saree also said Dubai was targeted with multiple Sammad-3 long-range drones and warned of potential attacks to come.

“The state of the Emirati enemy will be unsafe as long as the tools of the Israeli enemy in Abu Dhabi and Dubai continue to launch aggression against our people and country,” Saree tweeted.
