After Gaza deal, Trump's top adviser says Saudi-Israel normalization 'huge priority'

Trump’s next national security adviser, Mike Waltz, emphasized on Wednesday that the incoming administration will place Saudi-Israel normalization atop its agenda now that a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas seems imminent.

Incoming President Donald Trump’s pick for national security adviser, Florida Congressman Mike Waltz, said on Wednesday that, with an Israel-Hamas ceasefire on the table, normalization will be a key priority for the Trump administration. 

"It's [Saudi-Israel normalization] a huge priority, and let's call it what it is: It's the next round of the Abraham Accords."

Starting Monday, Waltz, a former congressman and army veteran, will be replacing outgoing national security adviser Jake Sullivan.
