The exhibition features rare and beautifully illustrated works that explore Morocco’s intricate architecture, from the ornate riads (garden courtyards) of Fez and Marrakech to the grand medersas (Islamic schools) that stand as testaments to the country’s dedication to knowledge and artistry.
Beyond its stunning architecture, Morocco is home to an enduring artistic tradition. The books on display highlight the mastery of Moroccan artisans, showcasing exquisite ceramics, textiles and jewelry that have been passed down through generations. Visitors can also explore Morocco’s rich musical heritage, delving into the rhythms and melodies that have been integral to its cultural expression.

Discover the beauty of Arabic calligraphy with a hands-on Naskh calligraphy workshop designed for beginners. This session will introduce participants to one of the most revered and elegant forms of Arabic script, known for its clarity and timeless aesthetic.
Naskh, which means "copy" in Arabic, has been used for centuries to transcribe books, manuscripts and religious texts. It remains the primary script for writing the Quran, making it an essential part of Islamic art and heritage. Under the guidance of expert calligrapher Hussein Ammar Ahmed, participants will explore the fundamentals of this script, learning proper pen strokes, letter structures and spacing techniques.

Book of the week: "The House of Fortune"
In “The House of Fortune,” Nick Kelly weaves a rich historical tale set in Qatar’s pearling era, following the Al Bahr family as they navigate decades of change.
