France and Saudi Arabia announced more than $10 billion in deals on Monday as Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman wrapped up a two-day state visit to Paris for talks with French President Emmanuel Macron.

The agreements included a reported 6 billion euro ($7 billion) Saudi investment in three manga-themed amusement parks outside Paris, alongside pacts spanning energy, artificial intelligence, aviation financing and other sectors.

What happened: Prince Mohammed arrived in Paris on Sunday for a two-day state visit, his fourth trip to France since his appointment in 2017. He met Macron and other senior officials to discuss Franco-Saudi economic ties and escalating tensions across the Middle East.

On Monday, Macron hosted Prince Mohammed at the Elysee Palace in Paris for high-level bilateral talks, which focused on expanding strategic partnerships in energy, defense and economic investment, alongside efforts to bolster regional stability and address wider international security challenges.
