Serbia has opened a factory to assemble advanced Israeli-made drones that will supply the Serbian military and armed forces in other countries, President Aleksandar Vucic said Thursday.

What happened: In an Instagram post, Vucic said the factory will assemble “state-of-the-art” Israeli-designed drones and employ around 100 workers.

The facility is in Simanovci, roughly 30 kilometers west of Belgrade.

Vucic included limited footage of the facility, saying the public would be impressed by the drones being produced there. He said journalists would not be invited to visit the site due to the confidentiality of the production process.
