Ali Hashem, Al Mayadeen haber kanalında baş muhabir olarak görev yapan Arap bir gazetecidir. Mart 2012’ye dek El Cezire’de savaş muhabiri olarak çalışmış, öncesinde ise BBC’de kıdemli muhabir olarak görev almıştır. Hashem’in haberleri, Lübnan’ın As Safir, Mısır’ın Al-Masry Al-Youm ve Aldostor, Ürdün’ün Alghad gazetelerinde de yer almıştır. Hashem ayrıca Guardian gazetesine de katkıda bulunmuştur.
