
Iyad Qatrawi siyaset bilimi ve Orta Doğu çalışmaları alanında lisansüstü dereceye sahiptir. On yıldır araştırmacı gazetecilik ve muhabirlik yapan Qatrawi, aralarında El Risale, Filistin’in El Rai gazetesi, El Hayat ve Tunus’un El Fecr gazetesinin de yer aldığı bir dizi medya kuruluşunda çalışmıştır. Ayrıca El Rai Radyosu’nda sunuculuk ve Orta Doğu Çalışma Merkezi’nde üç sene boyunca icra direktörlüğü yapmıştır.
