
Kadri Gürsel, Al-Monitor'un Türkiye’nin Nabzı bölümünün yazarlarındandır. 2016'dan 2018'in eylül ayına kadar Cumhuriyet gazetesinde, daha önce de 2007-2015 yılları arasında Milliyet gazetesinde köşe yazarlığı yapan Gürsel, Türk dış politikası, uluslararası ilişkiler, Türkiye’de Kürt sorunu ve siyasal İslam’ın gelişimi gibi konulara yoğunlaşmaktadır. Gazeteciliğe 1986'da başlayan Gürsel 1997’de Milliyet yayın grubuna katılmış, 1999-2008 döneminde de Milliyet’in dış haberler müdürü olarak çalışmıştır. 1993’ten 1997’ye kadar Fransız Haber Ajansı AFP’de muhabirlik yapan Gürsel, 1995 yılında PKK tarafından kaçırılmış ve bu tecrübesini 1996’da çıkan “Dağdakiler” isimli kitabında anlatmıştır.
