
Kariyerine Başkan George W. Bush döneminde Ticaret Bakanlığı’nda adım atan Reeves Barbour 2008’de RAI Services şirketi adına ABD Kongresi’nde vergi ve mevzuat alanlarında hizmet verdi. 2010’da BGR Group şirketinin hükümet işlerinden sorumlu Başkan Yardımcısı olan Barbour telekom ve enerji alanlarında çok sayıda uluslararası müşteriyle çalıştı. Şu an Al-Monitor’un ana firmalarından Crest Yatırım Şirketi adına günlük siyasi faaliyetler yürüten Barbour aynı zamanda şirketin Kongre ve Cumhuriyetçi kuruluşlar nezdindeki irtibat sorumlusudur. Reeves Barbour eski Mississippi Valisi Haley Barbour’ın da oğludur.
