
Yavuz Baydar, Al-Monitor'un Türkiye’nin Nabzı bölümünün yazarlarındandır. 1979’dan beri gazetecilik yapan Baydar, radyo muhabiri, haber sunucusu, yapımcı, televizyon programı sunucusu, dış haberler muhabiri, yorumcu ve son olarak da Sabah gazetesinde okur temsilcisi olarak çalışmıştır. Baydar’ın köşe yazıları, Türkiye’de İngilizce yayınlanan Today’s Zaman gazetesinden de takip edilebilir. Baydar, aynı zamanda BBC World, İsveç Radyo-Televizyonu, NPR, Rus televizyonu ve El Cezire’ye yorumcu olarak katkı yapmaktadır. Dünya Okur Temsilcileri Örgütü’nün eski başkanlarından olan Baydar, Dünya Editörler Forumu, Endişeli Gazeteciler Komitesi ve UNESCO Ulusal İletişim Komitesi'ne üyedir.
