Kursat Akyol has worked as a senior correspondent, editor and writer at daily newspapers Gunaydin, Cumhuriyet, Radikal, Karsi and the national TV channel Kanal 6. Akyol's work has also appeared in BBC Turkish, Westdeutscher Rundfunk Koln (WDR) and Deutsche Welle.
