
Akiva Eldar Al-Monitor'un İsrail'in Nabzı bölümünün köşe yazarlarındandır. Daha önce Haaretz'in baş yazarı ve köşe yazarı olarak çalışan Eldar, Hebrew gazetesinin de ABD temsilciliğini ve diplomasi muhabirliğini yürüttü. Yahudi yerleşimleri üzerine Idith Zertal ile birlikte yazdığı "Lords of the Land" isimli son kitabı İsrail'in çok satanlar listesine girmiş ve İngilizce, Fransızca, Almanca ve Arapça'ya çevrilmiştir.
